Dennis Burck is a Detroit, MI native bass player and fingerstyle guitarist. He was introduced to the world of blues from blind keyboardist Tyrone Hamilton at 13, playing gigs throughout his teenage years until signing a record deal with award winning record label “Funky D Records” of Royal Oak, MI with blues-punk group “The Royal Blackbirds.” Burck is also a member of “Tino Gross and the Dumpster Machine” as well as “Jimmy Bones and the Snakebit Wanderers.” He comes to Lansing to work a day job as a reporter and joined with Deacon Earl as an avid fan of North Mississippi Hill Country Blues.
